On 10th July, the vice-president of People’s Political Consultative Conference of Sichuan, and the provincial chief of Zhigong Party Xingping Yang with his staffs surveyed Chengdu branch and especially asked about the research results transform work of CAS in the construction of Mianyang science and technology town, and he listened to the participants’ advises about the construction of Mianyang science and technology town. The Secretary of Chengdu branch, Executive Vice-President Xueding Wang, vice-president Feng Cheng, and the vice-curator of the National Science Library Chengdu branch library Zhiping Yang attended the meeting.’s research results transfer to Sichuan, especially the newest advancement of the science and technology cooperation in Mianyang City; and the director of personnel division YongBo Chen reported about the building of democratic parties and talents pool.’s strategy of making multi-level and multi-point and innovation driven development: the first is to further complete the grading system of Mianyang City government based on the district features and advantages; the second is to further complete the three-stage linkage mechanism of department, city, and province and the internal management structure of Mianyang technology town; the third is to strengthen the attraction to research institutes and talents, and focus on building the environment, vitalize the private business and further stimulate the positivity of researchers. ’s duty to propel the construction of the technology town, and hoped that it can be done through the mutual learning and communication.

Participants then exchanged their ideas about the construction of Mianyang technology town combining with the cooperation between CAS and Mianyang City, they suggested Sichuan to strengthen the macro-direction guidance on the area industry distribution planning, to avoid homogenized development, and strive to build an external environment suitable for the science achievements transfer, and attract more talents and carriers for industry innovation to drive the development of Mianyang city.
Mr. Wang expressed his thinking that though we have made great achievements in the technology town in Mianyang, the development speed is still far behind the east coast. He gave three pieces of advices under the new government
Xingping Yang high recognized the contribution of CAS for the innovative development and economic growth of Sichuan Province. He indicated that he concerns very much about the development of the Mianyang technology town as a Zhigong Party member. The purpose of this survey is to extensively listen to the advices of different community, and to further complete the survey report system of the Mianyang technology town, and bring suggestions to the government.
