In the afternoon of July 15th, Chinese Academy of Science held “the video conference for the CAS Party Group 2013 Summer Expansion meeting and the Party’s mass line education & practice mobilization ”. The Secretary of Chengdu branch, Executive Vice-President Xueding Wang attended the conference in the meeting place in Beijing. Mr. Yongtao Zhao, the vice-president of Chengdu branch, Mrs. Liling Peng, the discipline team-leader and party group vice-secretary of Chengdu branch, Mr. Feng Cheng, the vice-president of Chengdu branch and party group member participated in the meeting.
The President of CAS and the secretary of party group Chunli Bai transmitted the spirit of CAS Party Group 2013 Summer Expansion Meeting held during July 8th to 11th, and he indicated that this meeting was held during the critical point when the in-depth implementation of “innovation 2020”, CAS reformation and the education&practice of party members about mass line started, it has significant meaning to development of future work in many respects.
President Bai gave a mobilization speech on the implementing the mass line education&practice on behalf of the CAS party group, he explained the importance of this work, and he made comprehensive arrangement and specific requirements for every division in CAS to sturdily work on it. And the Central Committee sent the CAS-stationed director of the 28th supervision section Zhengfu Wang, and the vice-director Zhenghuan Xu gave speeches and came up with requirements for relevant tasks.
Members of the party leadership group in Chengdu and Chongqing, party committee, discipline inspection commission, cadres, researcher representatives, and the Secretary of Party General Branch，and party branch secretary in sum of more than 150 people participated in this video conference in the parallel sessions in Chengdu branch and other departments.
