High Radiation-resistant Photographing Devices for Reactor Cores

  With the end of photographing for reactor cores, the first repair charge for No.1 plant of Hongyanhe Nuclear Station completed successfully. This shows that photographing devices for reactor cores, which is completely independent intellectual property rights for the Institute of Optics and Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have been engineered and productized successfully. 

  Reactor cores are regard as a heart of nuclear reactors. It is like coals burning in a boiler. The melting of reactor cores will lead to a great destruction. Monitoring devices for reactor cores are very important for stable operations of a nuclear station. 

  High radiation resistant camera is a critical component of photographing devices for reactor cores.Resistances to radiation dose rate of the camera exceed 106rad/h, the total dose exceeds 108rad, and image resolutions are superior to 600 TVL. The camera is superior to the products of the same type comprehensively. This not only fills in the gaps, but also makes a good foundation for developing a panoramic camera in the future.
